Technical Data
G2033-72K
Ghrelin (NT) (Obestatin prepropeptide, GHRL, Ghrl)
Description:
Ghrelin, a growth hormone (GH)-releasing acylated peptide, was identified as the endogenous ligand for the growth hormone (GH) secretagogue receptor 1a. It stimulates the release of GH from the anterior pituitary through the GH secretagogue receptor (GHS-R). It may also play a role in regulating the digestive system and energy balance.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Control Peptide: G2033-72K1

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
