GLUT 2 (Glucose Transporter 2, Glucose Transporter Type 2 Liver, GLUT2, GLUT-2, GTT2, Solute Carrier Family 2 Facilitated Glucose Transporter Member 2, SLC2A2) (PE)
Glut2 belongs to the facilitative glucose transporter protein family that comprises 13 members. It is an integral membrane protein with 12 transmembrane domains. Glut2 is expressed predominantly in liver, intestine, kidney, and pancreatic b-cells. It is a low-affinity glucose transporter that has been suggested to function as a glucose sensor in pancreatic b-cells and facilitate either glucose uptake or efflux from cells depending on their nutritional state.

Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Myeloma cells with B cells from Balb/c mice.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for at least 6 months at 4C. Freezing R-Phycoerythrin (PE) conjugates will result in a substantial loss of activity. PE conjugates are sensitive to light.
