Technical Data
G3900-25
GLUT 3 (Glucose Transporter)
Description:
Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:1000-1:5000 (ECL). ~45kD
ELISA: 1:10,000-50,000 Control peptide can be used to coat ELISA plates at 1ug/ml.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Control Peptide:
G3900-27 GLUT 3, Rat Control Peptide (Glucose Transporter)

Storage and Stability:
For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Immunogen:
A 12 AA C-terminal peptide sequence near the C-terminus of mouse/rat glucose transporter-3 (Glut-3) (1). A cysteine has been added at the NH2 terminus for coupling to KLH.
Purity:
Serum
Form
Supplied as a liquid, neat serum, 40% glycerol.
Specificity:
Recognizes mouse GLUT 3 (Glucose Transporter). Species sequence homology: rat 100%. Does not recognize human Glut-3 because of significant interspecies differences in C-terminal Glut-3.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
