Description:
Glucose is fundamental to the metabolism of mammalian cells. Several glucose transporter protein (Glut) isoforms have been identified and shown to function in response to isulin and IGF-1 induced signaling. Glut-3 is detectable in a few normal cell type spermatids in testis with active spermatogenesis.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Immunohistochemistry: Frozen and paraffin sections
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Positive Control: Human placenta

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
