Glutathione S Transferase alpha 4, NT (Glutathione S-transferase A4, GST Class-alpha Member 4, GSTA4, GTA4, Glutathione S-transferase A4-4, GSTA4-4, DKFZp686D21185)
Description:
Conjugation of reduced glutathione to a wide number of exogenous and endogenous hydrophobic electrophiles. This isozyme has a high catalytic efficiency with 4-hydroxyalkenals such as 4-hydroxynonenal (4-HNE).

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:1000
Western Blot: 1:100-1:500
Flow Cytometry: 1:10-1:50
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin-fixed paraffin): 1:50-1:100
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
