Isoflavone derivative found in soy-based food products. Solubility: Very insoluble (< 100ug/ml) in methanol, ethanol, or water; soluble in DMSO. Very insoluble in aqueous alcohol or aqueous acetonitrile; with heating, a solution of 100ug/ml can be made, but upon cooling most of the glycitein crystallizes out, leaving ~10ug/ml or less in solution. Storage and Stability: May be stored at RT for short-term only. Long-term storage is recommended at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. CAS Number: 40957-83-3 Molecular Formula: C16H12O5 Molecular Weight: 284.26 |
Purity: ~99% Form: Supplied as a white powder. Important Note: This product as supplied is intended for research use only, not for use in human, therapeutic or diagnostic applications without the expressed written authorization of United States Biological. |
