Glycogen Phosphorylase Isoenzyme BB (GPBB)
Description:
GPBB-sensitive marker for the AMI diagnosis within 4 hours after the onset of chest pain. It has also been shown that GPBB increased in a considerable proportion of AMI patients within 2-3 hours from chest pain onset. GPBB increased early in patients with unstable angina. GPBB can be also a sensitive marker for the detection of peri-operative myocardial ischaemia and infraction in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 5ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
