Description: Glypican 4 belongs to the glypican family of heparin sulfate proteoglycans (HSPGs) that are anchored to cell membranes by a glycosylphosphatidylinositol linkage. Glypicans may play a role in the control of cell division and growth regulation. Glypican 4 has been shown to be a receptor for endostatin a known potent antiangiogenic protein. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 15-20ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
