Technical Data
G8577-50G
Golgi Protein 58K (Formimidoyltransferase Cyclodeaminase, Formiminotransferase Cyclodeaminase, FTCD, Glutamate Formiminotransferase, LCHC1) (Azide Free)
Description:
FTCD is present in all mammalian cells either free in the cytosol or tightly bound to the Golgi complex, and is most abundant in the liver. FTCD is linked to two human diseases, autoimmune hepatitis and glutamate formiminotransferase deficiency.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:64,000
Western Blot: 0.03-0.5ug/ml. Detects a band of approximately 55-60kD in human liver lysate.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after reciept. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
