Gr-1 (GR1, Myeloid Differentiation Antigen, Ly-6G) (Azide Free)
Ly-6G, formerly known as the myeloid differentiation antigen Gr-1, is a GPI-anchored protein.1 In the bone marrow, the level of antigen expression is directly correlated with granulocyte differentiation and maturation. It is also transiently expressed on monocytes in the bone marrow. In the periphery, Ly-6G is expressed predominantly on neutrophils.

Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot, In vitro activation of complement-dependent Cytoxicity Assays and Depletion of Ly-6G+ cells. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
