Technical Data
Granulocyte Colony Stimulating Factor, 174aa, Recombinant, Human (G-CSF, Filgrastim, Lenograstim, Pluripoietin)
Molecular Biology Storage: -20CShipping: Blue Ice
Recombinant G-CSF comprises a 174 amino acid fragment (31-204) corresponding to the mature short form of the G-CSF protein and is expressed in E. coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag.

G-CSF is a growth factor and/or cytokine produced by the endothelium, macrophages and a number of other immune cells. G-CSF stimulates the bone marrow to produce granulocytes and also to stimulate the survival, proliferation, differentiation and function of neutrophil granulocyte progenator cells and mature neutrophils.

Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
