|
Description: The homeobox gene goosecoid (gsc) is expressed in the dorsal blastoporal lip of the Xenopus gastrula and is involved in organizing the dorsoventral axis of the frog embryo. The zebrafish homologue of gsc is expressed in two independent phases in the embryo. Gsc shows overlapping areas of expression with no tail (ntl). However, gsc- and ntl- expressing cells are eventually separated during development. Studies of ntl mutants suggest that gsc function is independent of ntl function within the embryo.Coexpression of FoxA3 and gsc at the dorsal blastula margin is essential to the characterization of anterior neural fate. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:5000-1:20,000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Control Peptide: G9005-30P Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
