Description: Histone deacetylase 7 is a thymus-specific, intracellular transcription factor belonging to the class IIa histone deacetylase family. Reports suggest that dephosphorylation and nuclear localization of HDAC-7 is promoted by myosin phosphatase, thus regulating the repression of Nur77 and inhibition of apoptosis in CD4+CD8+ double-positive thymocytes. HDAC-7 plays a specific role in maintaining vascular integrity by repressing the expression of matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) 10. It promotes repression mediated by transcriptional corepressor NCOR2 and is an efficient corepressor of the androgen receptor (AR). It is also responsible for the deacetylation of lysine residues on the N-terminal part of the core histones (H2A, H2B, H3 and H4). Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:100-1:1000 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
