Description:
HDAC2 is a class I mammalian histone deacetylase containing 488 amino acid residues with an apparent size of ~55kD by denaturing SDS-PAGE. HDAC2 has been shown to interact directly with transcription repressor complexes and the nuclear receptor corepressor N-CoR.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Western Blot: 0.5-4ug/ml
Immunocytochemistry:10-20ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
