HDAC2 (Histone Deacetylase 2, HD2)
Description:
HDAC2 is a class I mammalian histone deacetylase containing 488aa residues with an apparent size of ~55kD by denaturing SDS-PAGE. HDAC2 has been shown to interact directly with transcription repressor complexes and the nuclear receptor corepressor N-CoR.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 20ug/ml
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
