Description:
ICOS Ligand, also known as B7-related protein 1 (B7RP-1), is a costimulatory molecule that serves as a ligand for ICOS (Inducible Co-Stimulator).

Applications:
Suitable for use in Neutralization, ELISA and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Neutralization: ~1-4ug/ml yields one-half maximal inhibition (ND50) of the cell surface ICOS Ligand in the presence of 20ng/ml of anti-human CD3 and 3ug/ml of recombinant human B7-H2/Fc, using B7-H2-dependent proliferation of PHA stimulated human T cells as an assay.
Direct ELISA: 0.5-1ug/ml. The detection limit is ~5ng/well.
Western Blot: 1-2ug/ml. The detection limit is ~1ng/lane under non-reducing and reducing conditions.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Hybridoma:
Hybridoma resulting from the fusion of a mouse myeloma with B cells obtained from a mouse immunized with purified, NS0-derived, recombinant human ICOS Ligand extracellular domain.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
