Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:1000
Immunocytochemistry: 1:1000-1:5000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Specificity:
Recognizes hiNOS (1137-1153) and recombinant hiNOS (NOS type II). Does not react to hnNOS (1411-1433), recombinant hnNOS (NOS type I), heNOS (1182-1203) and recombinant heNOS (type III). Specific for the carboxyl end of hiNOS and is suitable for immunocytochemical and Western immunoblot detection of hiNOS.
