Description: IgA is useful in the identi cation of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. The most common feature of these malignancies is the restricted expression of a single heavy chain class. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid in ltrates indicates that the in ltrate is clonal and therefore malignant. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and lymphoma phenotyping. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilutions: ELISA: 1:5-1:10 Immunohistochemistry: 1:5-1:10 using frozen and paraffin-embedded tissue. Proteolytic treatment with trypsin is required. Incubate for 1 hour at RT. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Positive Control: Duodenum Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
