Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Immunoperoxidase electron microscopy and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:90,000
Western Blot: 1:2000-1:10,000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:1000-1:5000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol, ddH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Conjugated to horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates.

Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.2, 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and Protease free), 0.01% thimerosal. Labeled with HRP. Reconstitute with 1ml sterile 40-50% glycerol ddH2O.
Specificity:
Recognizes rat IgA, alpha chain. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at < 1% crossreactivity against other rat heavy or light chain isotypes. Assay by IEP resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-peroxidase, anti-goat serum, rat IgA and rat serum.
