Technical Data
I1890-05R
IgA (Heavy Chain) (HRP)
Description:
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Western Blot: 1:2000-1:10,000
ELISA: 1:200,000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:1000-1:5000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20C. Stable for 12 months at -20C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. HRP conjugates are sensitive to light.

Immunogen:
Mouse IgA alpha heavy chain
Purity:
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.2, 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and Protease free), 0.01% thimerosal. Labeled with HRP. Reconstitute with 1ml sterile ddH2O.
Specificity:
Recognizes mouse IgA heavy chain. Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-peroxidase, anti-rabbit serum, mouse IgA and mouse serum. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% crossreactivity against other mouse heavy and light chain isotypes.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
