IgG, Kappa (Biotin)
Description:
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Immunomicroscopy. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:2000-1:10,000
ELISA: 1:15,000-1:75,000
Immunohistochemistry: 1:1000-1:5000
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Label:
Biotinamidocaproate N-Hydroxysuccinimide Ester (BAC)

Biotin/Protein Ratio:
10-20 BAC molecules per goat IgG molecule

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder in PBS, pH 7.2, 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and Protease free), 0.01% sodium azide. Conjugated to biotin.
Specificity:
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-biotin and anti-goat serum. Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% crossreactivity against other human heavy or light chain proteins.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
