Technical Data
I1903-37N
IgG, Kappa (Biotin)
Description:
Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Immunomicroscopy. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:3000-1:8500
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Label:
Biotinamidocaproate N-Hydroxysuccinimide Ester (BAC)

Biotin/Protein Ratio: 10-20 BAC molecules per Goat IgG molecule

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Concentration:

Immunogen:
Human (kappa) light chain
Purity:
Purified by immunoaffinity chromatography using antigens coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities, pepsin digestion and chromatographic separation.
Form
Supplied as a lyophilized powder from PBS, pH 7.2, 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and Protease free), 0.01% Sodium Azide
Specificity:
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Goat Serum, anti-Biotin, Human IgG and Human Serum. No reaction was observed against anti-Pepsin or anti-Goat IgG F(c). Specificity was confirmed by ELISA at less than 1% cross reactivity against other human heavy or light chain isotypes.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
