IgG, Fc (AP)
Description:
Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunoblot (Western or Dot Blot), ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
ELISA: 1:1600 to 1:16,000 using pNPP, p-nitrophenyl phosphate, as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Label:
Alkaline Phosphatase (Calf Intestine) (MW: 140kD)

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Immunogen:
Human IgG F(c) fragment
Purity:
Prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Human IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in TBS, 1mM magnesium chloride, 0.1mM zinc chloride, pH 8.0, 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and protease free), 0.01% sodium azide, 50% glycerol. Labeled with Alkaline Phosphatase (AP).
Specificity:
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-alkaline phosphatase (calf intestine), anti-rabbit serum, human IgG, human IgG F(c) and human serum. No reaction was observed against human IgG F(ab)2.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
