Description:
Applications: Suitable for use in Immunoblot (Western or Dot Blot), ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.
Recommended Dilution: ELISA: 1:1000-1:5000. assayed against 1ug of rat IgG in a standard capture ELISA using p-nitrophenyl phosphate (pNPP) as a substrate for 30 minutes at RT. Optimal dilution determined by the researcher.
Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |

Rat IgG F(c) fragment
Purity:
Prepared by immunoaffinity chromatography followed by solid phase adsorption.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in TBS, 1mM magnesium chloride, 0.1mM zinc chloride, pH 8.0, 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and protease free), 0.01% sodium azide, 50% glycerol. Labeled with Alkaline Phosphatase (AP).
Specificity:
Recognizes rat IgG F(c) fragment. Does not crossreact with rat IgG F(ab’)2. Assay by Immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-alkaline phosphatase (calf intestine), anti-goat serum, rat IgG, rat IgG F(c) and rat serum.
