Technical Data
I1904-59P
IgG, Fc (AP)
Description:
Label: Alkaline Phosphatase (Calf Intestine) (Molecular Weight 140,000 daltons)

Application(s): suitable for immunoblotting (western or dot blot), ELISA and immunohistochemistry as well as other phosphatase-antibody based enzymatic assays requiring lot-to-lot consistency.

Recommended Dilution(s): This product has been assayed against 1ug of Sheep IgG in a standard capture ELISA using pNPP p-nitrophenyl phosphate NPP-10 as a substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature. A working dilution of 1:1,300 to 1:5,400 of the reconstitution concentration is suggested for this product. Optimal titers for other applications should be determined by the researcher.

Storage Conditions: Store vial at 4 C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE. This product is stable at 4 C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Freezing alkaline phosphatase conjugates will result in a substantial loss of enzymatic activity. Expiration date is one (1) year from date of opening product.

Immunogen:
Sheep IgG F(c) fragment
Purity:
Prepared from monospecific antiserum by immunoaffinity chromatography using Sheep IgG coupled to agarose beads followed by solid phase adsorption(s) to remove any unwanted reactivities.
Form
Supplied as a liquid in TBS, 1mM magnesium chloride, 0.1mM zinc chloride, pH 8.0, 10mg/ml BSA (IgG and protease free), 0.01% sodium azide, 50% glycerol. Labeled with Alkaline Phosphatase (AP).
Specificity:
Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-Alkaline Phosphatase (calf intestine), anti-Rabbit Serum, Sheep IgG, Sheep IgG F(c) and Sheep Serum. No reaction was observed against Sheep IgG F(ab)2.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
