Description:
Influenza virus is a single-stranded RNA virus, segmented, 70nm diameter and enveloped. Strains are described by geographic origin, strain number, year of isolation and hemagglutination (H) and neuraminidase (N) antigens.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunofluorescence, Hemagglutination Inhibition and Immunocytochemistry. Other applications have not been tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
Immunocytochemistry: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Titer:
Indirect Immunofluorescence: >1:1000
Hemagglutination Inhibition: >1:2500

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
