Influenza A, USSR (H1N1)
Description:
Influenza virus is a single-stranded RNA virus, segmented, 70nm diameter and enveloped. Strains are described by geographic origin, strain number, year of isolation and hemagglutinin (H) and neuraminidase (N) antigens.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: Formalin fixed/paraffin embedded sections.
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes purified virions. Specific to H1N1. Does not react with influenza B, RSV, Parainfluenza 1-3, Adenovirus or HEp-2 cells. May react with chicken cellular proteins.
Intended for research use only. Not for use in human, therapeutic, or diagnostic applications.
