Description: Insulin is a protein consisting of an alpha-chain of 21 amino acids and a beta-chain of 30 amino acids and produced in the beta-cells of the pancreas. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: Formaldehyde-fixed, paraffin-embedded sections Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: Sp2/0 AG14 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Positive Control: Human pancreatic tissue Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
