Description: Insulin is produced by the B-cells of the pancreatic islets and by insulin-producing islet cell tumors. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: Frozen Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Hybridoma: X63-Ag8.653 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. Affinity Constant: 6.3x10e-8M Recommended Pair: Capture: I7660-30B Detection: I7660-30A Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: We do not recommended adding glycerol as a cryopreservative. |
