Description: CD11b is implicated in various adhesive interactions of monocytes, macrophages and granulocytes as well as in mediating the uptake of complement coated particles. It is also a marker for hematopoietic/neural stem and progenitor cells and microglia. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Western Blot: 2ug/ml; Using macrophage lysates, a doublet is seen at ~95 and 103kD. A weaker doublet is also seen at ~130 and 160kD. Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded sections): 5-10ug/ml Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months.
