Interferon gamma (IFNg) |

Description: Interferon gamma is produced by lymphocytes activated by specific antigens or mitogens. IFNg, in addition to have antiviral activity, has important immunoregulatory functions. It is a potent activator of macrophages, and has antiproliferative effects on transformed cells and it can potentiate the antiviral and antitumor effects of the type I interferons. Applications: Suitable for use in ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry and Intracellular Staining. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
