Murine Interferon-inducible T cell alpha chemoattractant (I-TAC) is a novel non-ELR CXC chemokine. Murine I-TAC is regulated by interferon and has potent chemoattractant activity for IL-2 activated T cells, but not for freshly isolated unstimulated T cells, neutrophils, or monocytes. Recombinant Murine I-TAC is a 9kD protein containing 79 amino acid residues. Source: E.coli Form: Sterile filtered and lyophilized without additives. Stability: Lyophilized protein, though stable at room temperature, is best stored desiccated below 0°C. Reconstituted I-TAC should be stored in working aliquots at-20°C. Purity: 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis. Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug (1EU/ug) Reconstitution: Lyophilized human I-TAC is soluble in water and most aqueous buffers and can be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 0.1–1.0mg/ml. This solution can be diluted into other buffered solutions or stored frozen for future use. Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract murine CXCR3 transfected HEK/293 cells using a concentration range of 10-100ng/ml.
