Porcine interleukin1 alpha (IL1 alpha) is principally expressed by macrophages. It acts as a potent immunomodulator and mediates a wide range of immune and inflammatory responses.
ED50 range 0.02 0.04ng/ ml, as determined by a D10S cell line proliferation assay with MTS detection.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with 100ul sterile dH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
