Rat interleukin1alpha (IL1alpha) is produced by activated macrophages and is involved in the inflammatoryresponse. Source: Recombinant corresponding to rat IL-1, alpha, prepared from E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~17.7kD (155aa sequence) Activity: 2x108units/mg Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug Applications: Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with 10ul sterile dH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
