Recombinant human IP-10 (CXCL10) is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide containing 77aa and having a molecular weight of ~8.5kD. The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids was determined to be Val-Pro-Leu-Ser-Arg.

Activity:
Biological activity is determined by the ability to chemoattract human T-lymphocytes using 10-100ng/ml.

Storage and Stability:
Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Stable for at least 6 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile deionized water to a concentration 100ug/ml. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA). For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
