IP-10 is a CXC chemokine that signals through the CXCR3 receptor. Selectively chemoattracts Th1 lymphocytes and monocytes and inhibits cytokine stimulated hematopoietic progenitor cell proliferation. IP-10 is an 8.5kD protein containing 77aa residues, including the four conserved cysteine residues present in CXC chemokines. Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract IL-2 activated T cells using a concentration range of 0.1–10.0ng/ml Reconstitution: Soluble in dH2O and most aqueous buffers. The lyophilized protein should be reconstituted in dH2O to 0.1-1.0mg/ml. This solution can be diluted into other aqueous buffered solutions or stored at -20°C for future use. AA Sequence: IPLARTVRCN CIHIDDGPVR MRAIGKLEII PASLSCPRVE IIATMKKNDE QRCLNPESKT IKNLMKAFSQ KRSKRAP Country of Origin: USA Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20°C. Store in working aliquots. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Molecular Weight: 8.5kD |
