KLK2 (Kallikrein-2, Glandular Kallikrein-1, hGK-1, Tissue Kallikrein-2)
Description:
Glandular kallikreins cleave Met-Lys and Arg-Ser bonds in kininogen to release Lys-bradykinin.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA, Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
ELISA: 1:16,000
Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin): 2.5-3.8ug/ml
Western Blot: 0.1-0.3ug/ml, observed in human prostate lysates on ~22kD bands
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
