Kappa Light Chain (HCAK1, Ig kappa Chain C Region, IGKC, Immunoglobulin kappa Constant Region, Immunoglobulin kappa Light Chain, Kappa 1 Immunoglobulin Light Chain, Km, MGC111575, MGC62011, MGC72072, MGC88770, MGC88771, MGC88809) (FITC)
Description:
Useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas and certain non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. The most common feature of these malignancies is the restricted expression of a single light chain class. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is clonal and therefore malignant. Immunoglobulin bearing Kappa light chains are present on about 60% of normal B lymphocytes.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunohistochemistry (Fr). Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Immunohistochemistry: Frozen
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Do Not Freeze. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
