Description: Expressed in a discontinuous manner in the basal cell layer of adult skin epidermis, but continuously in the basal layer of fetal skin epidermis and nail. Also expressed in the outer root sheath above the hair bulb in hair follicle (at protein level). Expressed homogeneously in all cell layers of the esophagus and exocervix, but detected in the basal cell layer only of oral mucosa, skin and in the basal plus the next two layers of the suprabasal epithelium of the palate. Applications: Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence, Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Immunofluorescence: 1:200-1:1000 Flow Cytometry: 1:200-1:400 ELISA: 1:10,000 Western Blot: 1:500-1:2000 Immunohistochemistry (Formalin fixed paraffin embedded): 1:200 Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. |
