KIF4A (Chromosome-associated Kinesin KIF4A, Chromokinesin-A, KIF4)
Description:
KIF4A is required for mitotic chromosomal positioning and bipolar spindle stabilization. It is located in the nucleus and is associated with mitotic chromosomes. It is highly expressed in hematopoietic tissues, fetal liver, spleen, thymus and adult thymus and bone marrow. Lower levels are found in heart, testis, kidney, colon and lung.

Applications:
Suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilution:
Western Blot: 1:100
Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Positive Control:
4% formaldahyde-fixed dividing HeLa

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
