Description: KSR was initially considered to be a protein kinase acting in the Ras pathway, but has more recently been demonstrated to act as a scaffold protein, facilitating complex formation between RAF and MEK and ERK. Applications: Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry Other applications have not been tested. Recommended Dilutions: Immunohistochemistry (Frozen and paraffin): Methacarn fixation recommended for paraffin embedded tissues. Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Recommended Secondary Reagents: I1904-49U IgG, F(ab’)2, H&L X-Adsorbed (FITC) RbxRt I1904-49H IgG, F(ab’)2, H&L X-Adsorbed (HRP) RbxRt I1904-47J IgG, H&L (AP) Pab GtxRt Storage and Stability: May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol 40-50%, aliquot and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
