LD78-beta is a member of the CC chemokine family closely related to MIP-1 alpha (LD78-alpha/CCL3), which acts as a chemoattractant for lymphocytes and monocytes, and is a potent inhibitor of HIV entry, thorough binding to the HIV co-receptor CCR5. Source: E.coli Applications: Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Endotoxin: 1EU/ug Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human monocytes using a concentration range of 1-10ng/ml. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile buffer or ddH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
Source: E. coli Purity: 98% (SDS PAGE and HPLC) Concentration: ~0.1mg/ml Form: Supplied in lyophilized powder. Reconstitute with 200ul sterile dH20.
