Human LEC (liver-expressed chemokine) also known as NCC-4 is a recently discovered CC chemokine. Recombinant Human LEC is a 11.2kDa protein containing 97 amino acid residues. Source: E.coli Form: Sterile filtered solution lyophilized without additives. Stability: Lophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at room temperature, but best stored at- 20°C. Reconstituted human LEC should be stored in working aliquots at- 20°C. Purity: 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analysis Endotoxin: 0.1 ng/ug (1EU/ug) Reconstitution: We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1-1mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for future use. Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract total human monocytes using a concentration range of 10-100ng/ml.
