Lipopolysaccharide-induced CXC chemokine (LIX), also known as CXCL5, is a 9.8kD chemokine which is expressed by fibroblasts. LIX is induced by bacterial lipopolysaccharides and is chemotactic for neutrophils. Source: Recombinant mouse LIX, expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: 9.8kD (93aa sequence) Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug Applications: Suitable for use in Functional Assays. Other applications not tested. Recommended Dilution: Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with 20ul sterile dH2O. Aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. |
