Lymphotactin is a newly discovered chemokine that exhibits chemotactic activity toward lymphocytes but not towards monocytes or neutrophils. Human lymphotactin is 10.2kD protein containing 92 amino acid residues. Source: E. coli Purity: > 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC analyses. Endotoxin: < 0.1ng per ug of lymphotactin. Biological Activity: Determined by its ability to chemoattract human peripheral blood lymphocytes using a concentration range of 10-100ng/ml Concentration Range for most in vitro applications: 10.0-100 ng/ml Responding Cells (partial list): Lymphocytes Form: Lyophilized protein with no additives. The protein may appear as a haze or film which is difficult to see at the bottom of the vial. Reconstitution: We recommend a quick spin followed by reconstitution in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers. Storage and Stability: The lyophilized protein is stable for a few weeks at RT. It is best stored at -20ºC. Reconstituted lymphotactin should be stored in working aliquots at -20°C. Country of Origin: USA Molecular Weight: 10.2kD |
