Technical Data
M1011-04
M13 Bacteriophage
Description:
M13 bacteriophage widely used in the preparation of 'phage-display' immunoglobulin libraries. May be useful in rapidly sorting large phage display libraries (antibody, peptide etc.) with the expressed proteins fused to either the gene III or gene VIII protein of the filamentous phage.

Applications:
Suitable for use in ELISA and Immunofluorescence.
Other applications not tested.

Recommended Dilutions:
ELISA: 1:1000-1:8000
Optional dilutions to be determined by the researcher.

Storage and Stability:
May be stored at 4C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
