Macrophage Colony Stimulating Factor (M-CSF) is produced by various cell types including broblasts, macrophages and endothelial cells. This M-CSF is involved in both the development and function of monocytes and macrophages. Recombinant Murine M-CSF is a disul de-linked homodimer composed of 18.2kD subunits of 156 amino acid residues. Biological Activity: The ED50, as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of M-NFS-60 cells, is 1ng/ml, corresponding to a speci c activity of 1x10e6 units/mg.
