This polypeptide is a disulfide-linked dimeric protein (1). Source: E. coli Biological Activity: The biological activity of human M-CSF is measured by the mouse bone marrow colony-forming assay (2). The specific activity is 6 X 107 U/mg. Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Reconstitute to with sterile dH2O or buffer, aliquot and store at -20°C. Reconstituted product is stable for 6 months at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.
