Source: Recombinant corresponding to 101aa from mouse Macrophage Inflammatory Protein 1 gamma expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~11.6kD Biological Activity: The biological activity was determined by measuring dose-dependent chemotaxis with human neutrophils and human T cells. A concentration range of 1.0-10ng/ml produced significant chemotaxis. MIP-1y is a CC chemokine with inflammatory and pyrogenic properties. This chemokine is constitutively expressed by macrophage, dendritic cells and myeloid cell lines. MIP-1y also induces Ca2+ flux in CD4+ or CD8+ T cells and inhibits colony formation with bone marrow myeloid immature progenitors. Endotoxin: ~0.1ng/ug Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Molecular Weight: ~11.6kD |
Purity: ~99% (SDS-PAGE, HPLC) Concentration: Not determined Form: Supplied as a lyophilized powder. BSA free. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O to 0.1-1mg/ml.
