Source: Recombinant corresponding to 70aa from human MIP-3a expressed in E. coli. Molecular Weight: ~8kD Endotoxin: 0.1ng/ug Biological Activity: The biological activity of recombinant human MIP-3a is determined by measuring concentration dependent chemotaxis with human T cells. A concentration of 10-50ng/ml produces significant chemotaxis. The optimal concentration should be determined for each specific application. MIP-3a is a b chemokine (C-C chemokine). Storage and Stability: Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20°C. Stable for 12 months at -20°C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Molecular Weight: ~8kD |
